Stephen Zavala - "Galaxy fleet arrival concept for Star Wars ep. 9 Rise of the Skywalker. Though this is just an individual piece, developing the fleet took months, mostly doing the vis dev for each of the ship assets (probably my biggest task in the film). The team dug ships from all the SW shows and designed new ones to populate the fleet. Developed along with Russell Story, Pablo Dominguez, Pablo Carpio, Adam Alexander Baines, Stephen Tappin and James Clyne (who supervised us) as well as all the digital artists involved in these shots, we were able to bring thousands upon thousands of ships to the big screen. Indeed fun times except when running out hd space."
